Horse riding in Cappadocia ‘In ancient Persian, Cappadocia means “the land of horses”. Under the guidance of equestrian tourism professionals, it is possible to enjoy horseback rides in the region lasting from 2 hours to a full day (8 hours - at a cost of €80 including lunch).
For those who wish, it is even possible to organise, in combination with your stay in Cappadocia, excursions lasting several days on specially-designed routes (with accommodation in bivouacs) or equestrian courses. Information about the horses and the staff:

 The horses are of Turkish and Arabian breed and are mostly between 4 and 12 years old. The horses are sure-footed, making them easy to handle. Riding groups can be made up of between 2 and 10 people (for safety and comfort), with 2 guides to supervise them (the number of guides varies according to the number of participants). Personalised walks can be organised (where possible and according to your wishes).
