Its founder, Paul Salih Gelegen, born in Tarsus, Turkey, has traveled across this country, located at the crossroads between East and West, since adolescence. With an extraordinary and fascinating history, Paul is a graduate in Economic Sciences from the University of Istanbul and in Art History from the University of Paris I – Sorbonne, specializing in Byzantine Iconography. His work in various tourism roles has allowed him to understand the different facets of the industry.

Paul Salih Gelegen, after founding 'ODEON TOURS' in France—whose name was inspired by the ancient ruins of his homeland—decided to launch a new brand, 'PLANETE CAPPADOCE,' dedicated to Turkey in general and specifically to Cappadocia, a region on which he focused his art history studies.
